Understand your credits
Credits are how TailorFit measures AI usage. Every AI-powered action costs some number of credits, and your plan determines how many you start with each month.
How credits work
Credits are deducted when you run an AI action. If your credit balance reaches zero, AI actions pause until your balance is topped up — either by your monthly refresh or by adding more credits from your account settings.
Credits are not shared across accounts. Each user has their own balance.
Credit costs by action
- Job analysis — 1 credit
- Resume tailoring — 2 credits
- Cover letter — 2 credits
- Interview prep pack — 2 credits
- Interview session — 5 credits
Credits by plan
- Free — 5 credits per month
- Starter ($9/mo) — 25 credits per month
- Pro ($22/mo) — 75 credits per month, plus up to 25 rollover
Pro plan credits roll over: any unused credits at the end of your billing period carry forward, up to 25 credits.
Adding more credits
If you run out before your next billing cycle, you can buy a credit pack from your account settings:
- Boost — 10 credits for $5
- Bundle — 30 credits for $12
- Power — 75 credits for $25
Credit packs never expire and are added to your balance immediately.
Checking your balance
Your credit balance is shown in the account menu at the top right of the app. You can also see your recent credit usage in your account settings.
Free plan limits
The free plan includes 5 credits per month — enough for five job analyses or two resume tailorings. It is designed to let you try TailorFit before upgrading.
