Track applications

The Applications section is where you keep track of every job you are pursuing. Every application has its own page: stage, notes, activity log, and the job analysis for that role.

Adding an application

Click "Add application" and fill in the basics: company name, role, the job URL, and the stage you are currently at. You do not need to have applied yet.

Stages

Every application moves through stages: Applied, Phone Screen, Interview, Offer, and so on. You can customize these stages from Settings to match how you think about your own search. The Overview dashboard uses your stage data to show response rates and where your pipeline is healthy.

Logging activity

Each application has an activity log where you can note anything worth remembering: a recruiter call, an email you sent, feedback after an interview, a name you need to follow up with. Keeping this current means you will not be scrambling for details when something resurfaces.

The Overview dashboard

The Overview page shows: total applications, how many are active, your response rate, and a breakdown by stage. There is also a chart showing your application volume over the past 12 weeks.

Response rate below 10-15% usually means the resume or the targeting is off, not that you need to apply to more jobs. Check the job analysis on recent applications for mismatch signals.

Keeping things current

Every time you hear back from a company (or stop hearing from one), update the stage. It takes ten seconds and keeps your dashboard accurate.
